We are a small (Ma, Pop, and kids once in awhile) company dedicated to fun, high quality toys and activities that build families and encourage children to spend enjoyable time with their parents. We feel that the best time spent with family is when everyone is doing something together and we try to offer products that encourage this. We have a wide range of interests that will be evident from the items we carry and the things things that we post about. Some of our varied interests include airplanes, physics, folk dancing, traditional/folk games, paper dolls, History,…etc.
We hope that through our company we can help others to find enjoyable activities that will build families and encourage learning.
I (George) have been building wooden toys and furniture as a hobby since my early teens and it has continued to be a challenging and rewarding hobby until the fall of 2008 when we started Pioneer Pastimes. Since then we have built or bought a building full of woodworking equipment and have been making some of the highest quality, creative toys available anywhere.
